After the Glasgow gang rape the outpouring of misogyny was vile. While I continue to support the aims and ambitions of the occupy movement, I am seriously questioning their tactics and culture. Glasgow wasn't an isolated issue, sexism, sexual abuse and the marginalisation of women in the movement is happening everywhere. Its not just about the sexual assaults and rapes themselves, although its clear that womens (and other marginalised groupings) safety isn’t being taken seriously in a number of camps, its the reaction to them.
